Yes — you can work in Ireland on a student visa, but there are limits. Most international students enrolled in full-time courses receive Stamp 2 permission. See https://www.irishimmigration.i...
During the academic year, you can work up to 20 hours per week and during holiday periods (June, July, August, and September), you can work up to 40 hours per week. To be allowed to work, you must
· be enrolled in a full-time course listed on the government’s Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP).
· the course must be at least Level 7 on the NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications).
· you must have a valid IRP (Irish Residence Permit) card
· you will need a PPS number to work legally and pay tax
Finally, you cannot be self-employed, and you must remain primarily a full-time student. Working more than allowed hours can affect future visa applications
If you complete a recognized degree, you may qualify for the Third Level Graduate Scheme, which allows:
· 1 year stay (Level 8 degree)
· Up to 2 years stay (Level 9 or above)

There is an orientation week prior to the beginning of the academic year which encompasses all the information that students will require. Coupled with this, both administrative and academic staff are always at hand and willing to engage with students and their questions.
