Module Aims

To introduce students to a range of contemporary ethical issues and the response of the Catholic tradition and other traditions to those issues. 

Learning Outcomes

  • To have a clear understanding of the central ethical concerns raised by a range of contemporary issues including; ecological degradation, negative attitudes and actions against women, the scope of religious freedom in society and the reality of a humanitarian crisis.
