Tobias Winright, Professor of Moral Theology, authored an invited chapter on “Just-War Lessons We Should Remember” in the new volume Forbidden: Receiving Pope Francis’s Condemnation of Nuclear Weapons, edited by Drew Christiansen SJ and Carole Sargent, published this month by Georgetown University Press. The volume resulted from a 2017 symposium on nuclear disarmament held at the Vatican, at which Prof Winright participated and also met Pope Francis.
