Our colleague, Bill Tinley, is gearing up to take on Carrauntoohil on 21 September next. The climb, in aid of Breakthrough Cancer Research, will be Bill's first attempt at Ireland's highest mountain.

"I had the pleasure of climbing Golica in Slovenia back in May. When the opportunity arose to take on Carrauntoohil, while at the same time raising funds for important cancer research, I signed up immediately."

There's scarcely a family in the country that hasn't been touched by cancer. More is needed to fund the development of new treatments.
