On October 28-31, Rev. Dr. John-Paul Sheridan, Acting Dean of Theology at St Patrick's Pontifical University in Maynooth (Ireland), visited the Faculty of Theology at the John Paul II Pontifical University in Krakow as part of the Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA) Erasmus+ programme. Rev. Dr. Sheridan, an experienced lecturer in systematic theology and religious education, led sessions for second- and fifth-year students and third-year seminarians, introducing Thomas Groome's Shared Christian Praxis method. He also presented insights into the Irish religious education system, drawing on his background as a diocesan advisor for catechetics. In a meeting with the Rector, discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between the sister universities, particularly through Erasmus+ exchange programs and academic projects. Furthermore, he visited the UPJPII International Cooperation Office, where details of future mobility programmes for staff and students were discussed. At the end of the visit, he also had the chance to explore the UPJPII Main Library, which boasts a wealth of distinctive scientific resources and historical theological collections that contribute to the university's intellectual heritage.
