Tobias Winright, Professor of Moral Theology, presented a paper, "The Ethics of War in the Catholic Church from Gaudium et spes to Fratelli tutti: Legitimate Defence, Peacebuilding and Integral Security," on 23 June at the summer meeting of the Ecclesiastical History Society. The theme of the conference was "The Church and the Military," and it was hosted by St Chad's College, Durham.
