It is with sadness we learned of the death of Fr Brendan McConvery CSsR, former colleague at St Patrick’s Pontifical University, Maynooth. A Redemptorist priest and a respected Scripture scholar, he made a lasting contribution to academic life in Maynooth and was widely admired for his gift in communicating the Bible to a broad readership. He is fondly remembered by staff and students alike for his wisdom, kindness, and generosity of spirit.

We remember him in our prayers, and we hold his Redemptorist confrères, family, friends, and all who mourn him in our thoughts. May he rest in peace
