Rev Dr Neil Xavier O’Donoghue recently travelled to the Dominican Republic where he helped the Responsible Team for the Neocatechumenal Way in Canada deliver a week of continuing formation for priests ordained from the Redemptoris Mater Seminaries of Canada (located in the Archdiocese of Toronto, Archdiocese of Quebec and the Archdiocese of Vancouver). The conference was held in the Casa Arquidiocesana Maria de la Altagracia Centro Internacional in Santo Domingo. There he delivered a number of inputs on active participation, the paschal mystery and other aspects of liturgical ministry in light of the continuing relevance of the renewal of the liturgy as proposed by the Second Vatican Council and the continuing need for liturgical formation.
